Conceptuality behind the ancient egyptian hieroglyphs hides an incredible mechanism of unconscious symbolism, built and redacted over centuries by scribes and royalty in the attempt to bestow protocols of eternal survival that have manifested throughout the whole social system as in tombs’ protocols.

Mixedmedia painting on canvas inspired by the ancient Egyptian funerary set of rules and the pharaoh Tutankhamon.

Howard Carter’s 1922 discovery of Tutankhamun’s nearly intact tomb, the excavations of which were financed by Lord Carnarvon, received worldwide media coverage at the time, sparking renewed public interest in Ancient Egypt.

Tutankhamun’s funerary mask, preserved in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, remains the most popular symbol.

Exhibitions of finds from his tomb have toured the world over the years.
