'A Ray of Light' x Infrared project

‘A Ray of Light’ has been realized in collaboration with the italian Turin based photographer Paolo Pettigiani.
Organic chlorophyll applied on a mixedmedia canvas & processed with digital infrared photography.
The composition presents symbols such as the diamond on the left side, a decomposed pharaoh face in the center and the rainbow on the right side.
Diamond represent the function of a prism, the pharaoh represents the luminous scomposition and the raimbow the light spectrum appearing after it.
As you can see from the images below, once the light hits the organic chlorophyll applied by Alberto on the canvas, it becomes red when photographed by Paolo with the infrared filter applied on his special camera.
